A Message to Rapturella....
Rap- I hold no animosity in a permanent way against you- know that- but after researchign things, I have found out a few things...

Rap- lemme tell you what I see...

I am seeing someone who is very adept at making innuendos, accusations, attacks, comments, you name it-

I am seeing someone who also is very quick to deflect/decry any inquiry into their actions-

I am seeing someone who, when faced with someone calling their bluff, or giving them a chance to say their peace, resorts to another deflection and/or slight of hand post wise... in short- they hit and run, never expecting to be called on their actions...

I am seeing that this has happened on more than one posting location of the internet- by the same person- I suspect it'd happen elsewhere, but I am not that much of an investigator- as it's not really a big deal in the end...

there are several examples of different mindsets/posting styles, or actions- different "faces" put on for other people-

To those who don't know what's goign on behind the scenes, it appears as if this person is being happy, forward, open, thrilled to be in the fandom of Garth Brooks.

To those who do know what's going on behind the scenes, etc.. and have the posts, etc. to prove it, it appears as if the person ie either trying to build an alibi, a false sense of "I'm above it all", a posting base from which to draw "strength" while messing wiht others... who knows...

I see someone who is unwilling to answer what should for any garth fan be a great opportunity to tell people more about themselves- it's not a matter of "not wanting someone to get to know them...." it's not a matter of "not wanting to answer " a question.. it appears to be a matter of maturity and nettiquette, of time in the world of "garth cyberspace..." and of time in the world itself...

Rap, I believe you are lying about many different things- your posts regarding me have shown me that- your posts w/ totally different mindsets in other sections of this board itself also show me that... in real life, they may call that Schizophrenia....

You did send someone a PM w/ a nasty tone- far different from anythingyou'd posted on AG- I know that for a fact- ..

it's sad really- GArth cyber space can do without the interruptions of discord......

Scott, "my Brother," atleast I have learned how to have Fun in a good, clean, harmless way! I don't have to get drunk to have a good time, unlike some people I know! *coughs* *turns head away* *coughs again*

 You, my friend, are mistaken when you think I have an "angle."  Don't try and give me a "bad name" because everyone already knows that I am a nice person.  Again, I am saved by the *precious* blood of JESUS CHRIST and you have no right to judge me.  Only GOD knows your heart.  I have been very diplomatic and kind to you.  However, you are testing my patience, Scott, and giving me a headache.

Myself? I would not be the one to step in and within 2 few weeks begin using collective terminology when explaining how "we" as a group should behave.
IMHO, it is you, Rapturella, who needs to look inside before you address the comminuity. Quite simply put, I was offended by your use of collective jargon, with flimsy attempts at hiding them among smilies, talk of the Christmas season and cyber expression like "*hugs*".
If you truly are a fan of Garth and his music, I welcome you into my soul. Otherwise, I take great pride in dissecting your posts to uncover any putrid sludge which may lie within yours.

Garth, AG, SP, PG, Trigger, the works... (message board)
Skywise's rantings is a nice little blogging corner. You want my take on politics? It may come. You want my views on religion? I will not shy away from my beliefs.. Life in General? sure! For this entry though, I think I'll stick w/ the topic of message boards, specifically those which have a connecting thread in them, the person of Garth Brooks (I'm a 'Garthnutt', or fan of Garth, BTW)

There are two main message boards garth wise- the first is Planet Garth . It's the 'unofficial internet site of Garth Brooks'. A mostly great place, though one I have had issues with in the past. More on that in other entries. Then, there is AllGarth.com . Another great site, one which used to be the defacto best Garth Brooks site on the internet. I've had issues there too, though I'll probably let them lie for now- it's not the point of this 'rant'

We have the satellite sites, Spud's site and Bush vs Kerry '04. Both are interesting sites, and Spud's has become to me mostly what AllGarth had going for it (minus the outright Garth mentions in the site name). More thanks to come later. Bush Vs. Kerry '04 is the newest of the sites. I dabbled in it pre-election. I'ts under a rebuilding from what I've been told.

Coming soon: the other "common thread" that has bound these sites together- OTHER THAN GARTH. It'll be interesting to pull the 'trigger' on this one...
